Vineland Boys & Girls Club Launches TWO New Websites!!!

Welcome to the world of "Interactive Boys & Girls Club of Vineland" - iBGCV -! We have launched our brand new websites. Since we only had a splash page up to this point, we decided we needed a proper channel to show the world what we're doing. Our new online home will function as an outlet for things that we find useful to our Members.
Two months ago, we launched our Member Center which was iBGCV's first project! This site was a collaboration between iBGCV interns (Rebecca B., Kassie D., Destiny D., Christian A., and Quiana P.) and headed by our Program Director, Jamia Bell. The Member Center provides Parents and Members with access to online account pay, real-time registration for clubs and programs and even a calendar! Thanks to the iBGCV Interns, the Member Center was a hit!! This prompted the need for the iBGCV team to redevelop the official BGCV website, complete with integration of the Member Center, Employment Website and even a development of our new After School Program Website!
The concept.
Instead of having a fancy webpage with no information, iBGCV decided to create a page that was user friendly and it works! After all, it is the purpose of a website to be available when our Members needed it most. There has a been a lot of talk about what matters most to the Members that use it and we wanted to make sure that their opinions became the map to which we draw! Of course we still wanted to be the coolest kids on the block so we came up with a solution that included great graphics and nice transitions. We have several templates for different kinds of pages and both of our sites provide a wealth of information. This way we can keep experimenting with new templates, which can then be re-used over and over again. Right now we've made three unique templates, one for ordinary pages (focused on readability), one for club houses (focused on imagery) and one for video (focused on donations and sponsors).
The software.
It's simple (download free) software with flash intros. Neat Stuff!! Plus, we provide a space for software integration and mobile access!!! It includes the necessary scope-of-measure that google allows with the security of McAfee!
The navigation.
Since most of our visitors will go straight to the clubs anyway, we didn't really see any use for cluttering the interface with a horizontal menu bar on top or a column full of distractions next to the text. So instead we made a nice little menu that you can always find on the top of the page and should navigate you through the rest of the website.
The ASP Il site.
Why we were at it, we decided to redevelop the ASP II Site which provides the members with even more usage data and security! We loved our old ASP II Site but we felt that this one would serve our members better!
Because of the new sites and their complex (yet, user friendly) setup, our offices are available to help you get use the great things we have online!
